RDA for women over the age of 50 and men over the age of 70 years is 1,200 milligrams (mg) / day
- Perform weight bearing and strength exercises regularly. Your daily routine must include physical activities such as jogging, climbing stairs, etc. to increase bone strength and density and slow down bone loss. If you are physically inactive, then you may be prone to osteoporosis.
